In the last newsletter, I shared the updated list of Top 50 DTC Brands Crushing It On TikTok. From February to May, it became a lot harder to make the list. The view cutoff jumped from 12.4M to 38M, meaning brands had to grow 3x on TikTok to stay in the top 50. There were 16 brands who joined the top 50 list, displacing 16 others. Out of the newcomers, I wanted to share 2 that I think are particularly impressive. Both of them punch well above their weight, gaining greater traction on TikTok than more established brands in their space. Both of these brands use the ‘customers trying / reviewing product’ content strategy.
#1) SHEFIT: Custom adjustable, high-impact and medium-impact sports bras for women of all ages, athletic levels, and breast sizes. Perfect level of comfort and support.
#2) Cirkul: Adjust the flavor of your water from zero flavor to several levels of intensity at the turn of a dial. All you have to do is choose a flavor, insert the pod into the bottle and you’re good to go. - TikTokers also claim that Cirkul makes Vodka taste great 😉 , potentially fueling some of it’s popularity.
